Balenciaga Sues Production Company To Deflect Blame
“The most reasonable course of action in Balenciaga’s mind is to deflect blame once more and sue the production company North Six Inc and set designer Nicholas Des Jardins for a whopping $25 million dollars solely relating to the US supreme court documents (there is nothing mentioned the BDSM teddy bears.) Balenciaga says they are seeking the suit in order “to seek redress for extensive damages defendants caused in connection with an advertising campaign Balenciaga hired them to produce.” The brand claims that North Six and Des Jardins had included the court documents without its knowledge, stating that it was “malevolent or, at the very least, extraordinarily reckless”.”
Bella Hadid Named 2022’s Most Powerful Dresser
“According to Lyst’s analysis, Bella sparked a 1,900% increase in searches for similar items to those she had been spotted wearing. Beloved for her Y2K casual style she helped boost searches for corsets by 70% and cargo pants by 56%. After being photographed on the streets of New York in September eating pizza while wearing a pair of ultra mini platform UGG boots, searches for the shoe increased 152% in just 24 hours!”
Where To Buy Second-Hand Designer This Christmas
“Designer resale sites do what they say on the tin (or rather, very expensive ribbon). Pulled together specifically to sell second-hand designer pieces, these websites curate some of the best items money can buy and, most valuably, will authenticate said items to ensure you are buying a real and not a fake.”
Anna Wintour Breaks Her Own Biggest Fashion Rule
“In an interview dating to 2019, Wintour had said with much confidence, "Don't wear all black," she continued, "It seems too gloomy as if one's going to a funeral." It would seem that the Chanel 1983 couture piece designed by Karl Lagerfeld that she wore last night to the state dinner in honour of the French President at the White House doesn’t count. Although, it may be clear why this particular look evades her own set of rules.”

How Important Is Fashion History In 2022?
“Whether you consider yourself interested in clothing or simply just throw on whatever you see in front of you, it is undeniable that each and every living human has a relationship with fashion, as did every human that came before us. Admittedly, for our cavemen grandparents, their concerns were more about dodging hypothermia than wowing everyone with their edgy styles. Yet, as we developed civilised communities, societies and cultures, fashion too evolved.
Much like architecture, texts and ruins, fashion from years gone by can offer us a wealth of valuable socio-economic, political and religious information because, as previously mentioned, clothing is an integral cog in our societal machine. Fashion has also become more than just clothing, it spreads its influence into the arts and sciences being used as a ribbon to tie myriads of sectors into a neat bow.”
